Good news, Richard. It's the same command for the BrailleEdge 40, and,
apparently for most Braille displays. Now why didn't I think of that? I
appreciate the wisdom you and others bring to this list, and I'm glad to be on

On the Orbit displays, the Toggle Shift is dot 4, plus dot 8, plus spacebar.
If you don't have an Orbit, open the VoiceOver Braille settings.
Find your device and flick up to More Info and double tap.
Double tap then on Braille commands. Flick right to keyboard and double tap.
Then, the Toggle
What you may have to do is go into your commands and find which one is the
toggle for shift key always on. This needs to be toggled off again. I think
that is what has happened.
