Thanks. Layouts I can deal with; my mom isn't exactly tech svy, so if I can
just hand her a 4 that works exactly like her 5, with all apps and logins and
data, that's all I was hoping for. I just wasn't sure about restoring between
the two devices, since people on here told me that restoring bet

Yes, you can, but the home screen layouts may get messed up a bit because
the 5 will have an extra row of icons so if your home screen is full on the
5, then 4 of the apps will get pushed to the second page. If page 2 is full,
then 8 of those apps will get pushed to page 3 and so on.
