Hello, the time speaking more consistently when the phone is unlocked is a feature of iOS 15. There is another thread on hourly chime apps where Richard recommended the Talking Time app, so you might consider it. For me that might be nice to have but not required at this point. Bill Outman

Hi! Try Voice Over Clock. It doesn't chime but you can set the announcements every 30 minutes. It's free and stable as a rock comparing to Cqoo Clock I paid for. Cqoo Clock crashed after three or four days while BOC is working flawlessly for more than a year
