No it was not. Today was all about the apple watch, iPhone 6, and iPhone
plus. IOS8 was discussed back in june.

Like Clifton said they showed the operating system off in June.
However, when they did this, no mention was made of IOS. Some of the
changes include
the ability to listen to the descriptive channel of a movie,
being able to control appliances such as locks, thermostats, lights,
etc with the phone
Actually, Nancy, I believe if you are able to stream WWDC from June of this
year you will find much information concerning IOS8.
