I know this might sound like checking the obvious but did you check to see that
airplane mode isn't turned on?

Yes, I am sure that airplane mode was not turned on. If it were, I would have
been prompted when I try to access the Internet. It's sometimes the little
things, I appreciate the thought. Thanks.
