I like TweetList 4 for my app of choice on the iPhone. It hasn't been updated in nearly a year, but I love the easy gestures and ability to look at messages in threads. I also have Twitteriffic an the native Twitter apps on my phone, but do not like those as much. I like the way that TweetList

I have been using twitterific for over a year now. It costs a couple bucks, but the developer listens to VoiceOver users and makes accessibility fixes when needed. Though I haven't used it, twitterific also has a mac version, so if you are considering getting a mac, it might be worth noting.
