I am presuming that this concerns reading e-mail on the iPhone. As far as opening an attachment, locate the attached file name and double-tap on that. If you have an appropriate app on your iPhone, the attachment should open within that app. So far as saving an attachment, I never gave it

It is true, the native mail app now has attachments built into the app, but it only lets you attach files from your icloud drive account. I have been trying to find out how to get a file from my dropbox app to icloud drive, but have not found one yet. The attachment option is on the rotor

Hi David, The easy way is to go to the file in Dropbox,find the Share option and select to share by email. This does, however, only send a link to the file to the other person. Somehow I remember it is supposed to be possible now to attach files from inside the mail app, but I haven't done it

Also, the back button in email attachments cannot be flicked to. Find the top left corner of your screen, and move down just past the status bar. You should find the button that way, but flicking or using the top of screen gesture will not get you there. -- Have a great day, Alex
