For the most part, I would prefer a good and reliable app over having to
carry a second device which is usually extremely expensive. While I do
have, and really like, the GPS utility for the Pac Mate

or Navigon wins hands down over the Trekker Breeze.
Your map data is updated far more often, the iPHone isn't as effected by
heavy cloud cover, which depending on where you live can have a huge impact.
