If you just plug the recharge cable in to it's recharger, you can start typing again in about a minute or less so it really isn't a problem unless your in the field with out a wall outlet handy. On the other hand, you should of charged it up before you left! LOL! Alan Sent from my iPad Air

Ok, at the risk of sounding like a wise guy and it is not my intent, when the keyboard no longer lets you type anything. The bluetooth rechargible keyboard I use can go for about 2 weeks before it needs to be charged back up. It only takes 3 hours from totally dead to fully charged so it's
