Sieghard,
That's exactly why I'm excited to have the K810--it works with both my
Windows 8.1 tablet as well as my iPhone! I haven't used the Option/Alt
key

To be honest, the keyboard I got was less expensive, but I will probabl get
an Apple one when I get an iPad. I couldn't pass up the good reviews and $30
US discount

If you just plug the recharge cable in to it's recharger, you can start typing
again in about a minute or less so it really isn't a problem unless your in the
field with out a wall outlet handy. On the other hand, you should of charged
it up before you left! LOL!

Sieghard,
Thanks so much for telling us about the Logitech K811 Bluetooth keyboard.
Not too long ago, I purchased the Logitech K810 and just found out, from
looking on amazon and reading your message
Ok, at the risk of sounding like a wise guy and it is not my intent, when the
keyboard no longer lets you type anything. The bluetooth rechargible keyboard
I use can go for about 2 weeks before it needs to be charged back up. It only
takes 3 hours from totally dead to fully charged so it's
LOL, I know it seemed like an obvious question, but I was looking for telltale
warning signs, like maybe some keys not registering, etc. and hopefully not
having the keyboard simply stop working before it needs a charge.
Thanks,
Teresa
