Just remember Sieghard is an old goat now at 55 and has a hard time remembering
how to have Siri restart his iPhone. You know it’s just operator error.

Exactly, obviously if the phone is completely powered off you can't use Siri.
Instead press the side button for about 4 or so seconds.

I think what is meant by restarting the iPhone is it’s done while the phone is
still on. I think it’s known as a soft reboot.

I am running IOS 16.2 on in iPhone 14 Pro. Both commands are working fine here.

I can still restart my iPhone XR via Siri using version 16.2.
