Yes, you can turn this off in your Google Voice settings on the web. Ask

I'm not sure I'm going to be of much help. I tried doing this with Orca
and Firefox, and I couldn't get into the right tab. Using Chrome and
ChromeVox, I was able to do it however. I went to voice.google.com,
which should be the same page you got to. There's a settings pull down
right above
I do not know if this will help you right now, but I am in the process of
recording how to change settings for Google voice using their website.
Essentially you have to go into the settings and then the call tab. There is a
