Specific GPS app advice

Hi all, I know this topic has been covered quite a lot recently but I am keen to get people's views on my specific requirements. I find myself in a position where I want to buy a navigation app and thanks to a gift have £25 on my itunes account. I could add to this a little but would rather not.

Since I don't live in the UK, you will need to do some checking. I would look at the new Google Maps app, which is quite VoiceOver usable. It will give you good turn by turn directions. It is free, so you could then buy Blind Square which will give you information about intersections. You can

Your two options are Navigon and TomTom, the UK versions of both apps. As to price, you will need to check the App Store. The price can change at any time, so the App Store is the only way to know when you are actually purchasing the app. The majority of blind people on this list prefer
