Thank you very much. I do try that and still received an error saying the
iPhone could not be restored. This happened with the old 5s andthe new iphone I
got that same day. I took the new 6 back for another and will see the folks at
apple to resolve this. I did a google search on this prom and
Every had tried to update through iTunes from my backup, it would say
backup and restore and each time an error came up unab le to restore
pease update and try again.
This continued in a circle as it were.
When doing the restart through home and power, I got the prompt to
plug into iTunes. This
Hi, sounds similar to my problem. Only way I got it fixed was to completely
wipe the phone by putting it in to recovery mode.

I had this problem on my iPhone 4S. Click the restore button instead of
the update button and your phone will be restored to factory settings
with IOS 9 installed. You can then restore your last backup and sync
your content and you'll be good to go.
