I just got a 4S. I will not be using it as a phone. Will I ever need to
connect my phone to my computer with the cable or will I be able to do
everything over my wireless connection?

I get the percentage
I get the percentage of battery charge remaining when I explore the
upper right hand corner of the screen.
I'd also suggest using a more descriptive subject line. Something less
generic might get someone who knows the answer to take a peak.
