I don't have any of this, so am going off what I have read only. Apple TVs let you airplay videos to them, or mirror your entire display to show everything your iPad does. You can also buy adapters to plug the iPad directly into a tv or monitor. Chrome Cast is also an option, but is only support

"Hi, all, I don't own an iPad yet. I'm seriously considering using a tablet instead of replacing my Mac Mini when the time comes. I'm wondering if there's a way to display video on a monitor. My husband and I like to watch videos together. Would I use something like Apple tV for this? Thanks
