I’m not Christopher, but the confusing way Apple does this is you have to
double tap on share, then if you flick through the options you will find “Add
Bookmark.”

double tap on Save and you now have that page in your

me, please? I think I have it backward or am missing a step or something as I

I assume you're talking about Safari. If you double tap the book marks
tab at the bottom of Safari, you'll see that you have book marks (which
are also called favorites) and a reading list. If you share to favorites
then you'll see a link to the page in your book marks/ favorites list.

When I share a web page, I get these options, 'add to favorite', 'add to
reading list' 'add to home screen' etc.
