Go to settings, mail contacts, etc. double tap, go to fetch new data about the
middle of the screen and below that you will find number of minutes to double
tap on to have mail sent every time that time goes by. I have it set to manual
and you must have too. Hope this helps.

I am asking for helpwith this issue. I have been able to establish a tone
(telegraph) for incoming e mails on my Iphone 4s when my e mail folder is
open. However, I have been unable to establish a tone for incoming emails
when the folder is closed, and I am on the desktop.
