Light touch must be right. I never had the first problem after Rita Howell's
tutorial on how to use the 10 and up screens.

You can also use the same gesture as before.

Hello Penny,
You could set up the back tap or another gesture to bring up control center as
you can now customize gestures and taps in Voiceover Settings.
I would furthermore argue there is no need for any additional implementation of
how you can get to control and notification center because
Yes, i see what you mean. It takes practice, but it’s still tricky! I think the
most important requirement is an extremely light touch!Do you think Control
Panel could be somehow added to the list of Quick Keys? That would be
convenient. Thanks

If you slide down until you feel the first vibration (you also hear a little
sound) and then lift your finger that is control center.
If you want notification center then you slide past the first vibration/sound
until you get to the second and lift your finger.
It is identical to when you swipe
Slowly is not required, once you get the hang of it you can do it very fast,
almost more like a flick down as long as you start after touching the status
bar and hear the little sound. you can do it

Try sliding down slowly with one finger, starting close to the lefthand edge,
from the top. As you slide down, you will hear a faint blip. Pick up your
finger, and Control Center shkuld open. Hope this helps, Penny

Kay,
To open the control center, touch the status bar, then using three fingers
swipe up from the bottom of the screen. To open notifications, touch the status
bar and swipe down using three fingers.

I meant control center, not notification center.

You said to let go after the first haptic feedback, then to slide down
farther to get to the notification center. I thought you were just supposed
to slide down until you got to the second feedback without picking your
finger up.

Much easier to touch the status bar and drag your finger down until you feel
the first haptic feedback and then let go, drag it down a bit more to the
second time it vibrates and you have notification centre.

Hi Paula,
Remember before doing the 3 finger swipe from the bottom of the screen
upwards you need to touch the Status bar.
Stay safe & take care. Mike.
Just once, I want a username and password prompt to say: "Close Enough!"

I keep trying to slide up with 3 fingers to get to the control center on my
home screen, but it doesn't seem to work. I can get to the spotlight and to
the notifications center, but not the control center. What am I missing?
Thanks.
God bless!
