Hi, I believe this is a new bypass feature to make it easier to get to those alternate characters. Before it was much more difficult reaching those unless you were using standard typing. So, now really the only way to avoid this is to not touch the same character for too long when you are in

Kimmy, A split tap does the same as a double tap except that instead of lifting your finger and then tapping twice quickly you leave your finger on the screen and then tap the screen elsewhere with another finger. If, for example, you want to open the App Store, you can find the app, then when
