I use Feeddler RSS. I use it in conjunction with inoreader.com. It's very accessible, has a lot of features, it's very configurable and it allows me to handle quite a few feeds very efficiently. I compared it to two other apps when I settled on it, but I have not compared it to lire, but I've

Both Lire and Feeddler are good choices. There is a free version of Feeddler as well as a paid one. Lire is a paid app, but it's quite inexpensive. If you decide on Feeddler or Feeddler Pro, you'll have to create an account with one of the servers that Feeddler uses to obtain its RSS content.
