There's nothing for the mac that will do this. There is an ipad app called
Synphony pro, which will do notation. You cant scan the music though, you need
to enter the notation.
I'm still trying to learn how to use it myself.

Hello All, does anyone know if there is any music scanner? Which can scan
and read music notation as well as English? Any help is appreciated. Ruby

Is abc notation just for Irish and folk music? I want to find a good notation

Oh but there is a program that convert print scores to braille musical

Hi all,
I am no musician and I'm only asking this out of general interest. But if, four
example, one found a musical score, online, and one was using a braille
display, would that musical score be readable as Braille music? Or, is there an
app which will make the transcription from print music
There is no way to do this, as far as I am aware.

I have been experimenting with music notation apps. I found 3

Hi all,
I'd just been trying out some music notation for the iphone. I'd
found one that is partly accessible. It's called music drawing.
When I opened the app, there's a series of butons, like to select
the duration of the note, and the stave to use. I was able to
enter notes with voice
it, but I'm not much of a composer as it is. still, it would be a
challenge for both developer and user/composer to be sure.

Yes, I admit it would be. If voiceover told us the notes, and
there was some way of playing the music back, then it could work.

I'd writen to the developer, but forgot to include a link.
Hopefully he will get back to me. It's not a problem to turn
voice over off at all. The butons are well labeled. It only
does the treble staff, so hopefully he will add support for bass
clef too.

The notes don't show unless I turn voice over off. Then I just
touch the screen and the notes play and I asume are writen on the
stave.

Steph, may not be hard to turn VO off, but if you do not have to do this then
it just adds to the overall experience.

Hey Scott,
I'd say use GoodFeel, but it is EXTREMELY overpriced, and I'm extremely
disappointed in Dancing Dots at the moment, as I have to pay a $400 upgrade for
GoodFeel to work on Windows 7 64 bit on my laptop.
Sorry if I can't think of anything, I wish you luck in the years to come! :)

I too would love to know if there is anything. As a composer and
person looking to start teaching piano, I could do with this. I
don't have a windows pc any more, so have no way of composing
music and printing it.
