Just to add to what Jennie said, you can also just turn off notifications to
your watch for any individual app. You can do this in notifications in the
Watch app on your phone. For any app that you do this, all notifications for
that particular app will only come from your phone.

If your watch is on and your phone is locked, it will automatically go to the
watch. If you unlock your phone, it will go to the phone. You cannot have both.

notification on my apple watch, i want it to ping myh phone as well. For
