Hi,
tried that with no luck. However stupid me just re-started the phone and all 
works well now. Apparently my wife changed the size of the icons and then back 
to normal. Don’t know if that was the problem.

I want to inform you that the latest facebook update has serious issues 
with accessibility in the playback controls on all videos.
vo can not focus and read the playback controls of the videos with touch 
navigation.

This issue only occurs with touch navigation.
With external keyboard everything works normally.
Has anyone encountered this issue?
If yes, please report the issue to facebook team.

My understanding is that feeds are ordered based on the last time a post 
had some action on it. So, for example, if someone just liked an older 
post or commented on it, then it'll show up at the top of your feed. I 
don't hear my sighted friends complaining about it, but that doesn't 
mean they don't.

Something happened to me last night after I hung up a call. I had, however, no 
sounds at all at first, then I had the clicks when I swiped. My wife had a look 
and everything looked fine. I simply turned my phone off and powered it back on 
and Voiceover was back. This was the first time and I guess I'll see if this 
happens again.

It's the same with the 7. The only time you can't use the Home button that you 
did before is when you reset your phone, at which time you use Volume Down 
instead.

I downloaded Just Press Record the other day for $4.95. It is a pretty good
recorder that will also transcribe recordings. It uses the Apple server, so
is good as dictating. I don't know how it would do if you tried to
transcribe a recorded conversation

I love the transcription feature. I most often use Dropvox to quickly get a
phone number, etc. But, getting that into Contacts involves remembering what
you hear while switching from app to app. With this, I can just cut/paste
the information. I have not had a chance to put it to practical use yet, so
have not tested this plan.

Another very simple app is Dropvox. Note it is "Dropvox" with a "v" as in
Victor not "Dropbox" as in the file storage service.
Of course the name is derived from Dropbox since the Dropvox recording app
uploads recordings automatically to a folder you can specify in your Dropbox
account. I assume it does use local temporary storage since the upload
happens when you are back on WiFi but I think there is an option to enable
uploading via cellular data.
There really are only two buttons in Dropvox, the Record button which is
above the home key and all across the bottom part of the phone and a
Settings button at the top right just underneath the battery percentage in
the status bar.
However, if you touch the Record button you have to swipe right to get to
settings, a bit counter-intuitive since if you could see the buttons you
would expect that you have to swipe to the left.
You can record in MP3 format and you can also set up Dropbox to start
recording immediately when you launch the app so you don't even have to
double tap the record button.
Dropvox is, however, not free, it is $2.79 here in Canada so I assume it
would be $1.99 in the States. It also hasn't been updated since October
2014. I am often a bit concerned when apps don't get updated, but this one
is just a really simple recorder which for me does the trick and it seems to
work perfectly fine with iOS 9 and also 10.

Mine did that. I told you guys on the list a week ago. restarting voiceover 
worked up until then, but that time it didn’t, and I had to literally wipe my 
entire phone.

Hi Steve,

When you are in the list of episodes for a particular show, scroll down the
screen, and you'll find a radio button that says show all. Check this radio
button, and then scroll down a little more, and you'll hear something like
season 2 episode 4, or something to that effect. Then you can tap on that
particular episode, and begin watching.

Also, you will have access to some of the channels dedicated apps, which will 
also allow you to watch past shows, of course you will have to watch the 
commercials.  That is my only drawback at this point as previously I had Dish 
Network and recorded most things I watched so that I could watch without having 
to also watch the commercials.

Hopefully as time goes on and the service matures things like descriptive video 
will also be added along with making the apps more accessible.  They aren’t 
that bad though for the first release

Job Summary

This position is responsible for Receiving, processing and responding to
inbound calls, written letters and emails originated by guests, vendors,
Corporate & Franchise restaurants, media outlets and other entities.  On
behalf of Denny's Corporate, Customer Service Associates must provide
accurate information regarding corporate processes and procedures. If
necessary, routes inquiries/issues to the appropriate person and or
department.  Ensures all calls regarding restaurant experiences are quickly
addressed, analyzed and resolved.

Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

*  Responsible for meeting and exceeding Call Center metrics and service
expectations when responding to those who make contact with the Denny's
Corporate Customer Service department and the Executive Office (CEO Promise)
phone and email queues.

*  Answers, researches and resolves inquiries, complaints received regarding
service failures experienced at Denny's restaurants, fulfillment requests,
credit/gift card issues, service compliments, general suggestions and
comments. 

*  Acts as Corporate Liaison between guests and various departments within
to ensure third party questions and or problem are properly addressed.  

*  Identifies and communicates systemic and recurring service issues to
departmental, Operations and Training Leaders.

*  Administers and documents customer satisfaction surveys via phone
conversations for those guests inside of targeted areas of Denny's
footprint.  

*  Asks probing questions to gain clarity and use active listening skills to
ensure the guest's perspective about the issue(s) are identified and
recorded so that the root cause can be determined and addressed by field
leaders.

*  Assists restaurant managers in correctly handling service related issues,
including gift card redemption and issuance problems.

*  Contacts Franchise Owners, Restaurant Management, Corporate and Franchise
Leaders as necessary to gain additional insight and or to provide additional
information regarding guest incidents.

*  Requests additional follow-up from above leaders as necessary when either
a guest requests this specific contact and or he/she is not completely
satisfied with the resolution provided by the Customer Service Department.

*  Provides and processes guests compensation (coupons, paper checks & gift
cards) to ensure that all service issues are resolved and as an attempt to
apologize for the situation and regain the guest's patronage in the future.

*  Provides guests with a personalized communication in the format of a
handwritten card or experience specific email.  This communication
apologizes, offers resolution, outlines the steps that have been taken to
address the issue at the restaurant level and thanks the guests for making
Denny's Corporate aware.

*  Accurately and thoroughly documents all exchanges of communication and
information.  Such documentation is frequently requested and used by Denny's
Legal Department.

*  Follows up and follows through on open call summaries, requests,
promises, and questions that have not been answered to provide callers with
a resolution in a timely manner.

*  Maintains acceptable workloads and meet or exceed departmental metrics as
outlined by the leadership team.

Education & Experience Requirements

*  High school diploma or equivalent.  Some college preferred. 

*  1-3 years of recent experience in a Customer Service support role (Call
Center experience preferred).  Computer experience is required along with an
acceptable WPM of at least 30.

Required Knowledge and Skills

*  Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken)

*  Must have a passion for customer service excellence and have the desire
and drive to serve as the customer's advocate.

*  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

*  Must be able to take and process 60- 80 calls and 20-30 emails per day.

*  Works independently and adjusts to changing priorities and demands

Another very simple app is Dropvox. Note it is "Dropvox" with a "v" as in 
Victor not "Dropbox" as in the file storage service.
Of course the name is derived from Dropbox since the Dropvox recording app 
uploads recordings automatically to a folder you can specify in your Dropbox 
account. I assume it does use local temporary storage since the upload happens 
when you are back on WiFi but I think there is an option to enable uploading 
via cellular data.
There really are only two buttons in Dropvox, the Record button which is above 
the home key and all across the bottom part of the phone and a Settings button 
at the top right just underneath the battery percentage in the status bar.
However, if you touch the Record button you have to swipe right to get to 
settings, a bit counter-intuitive since if you could see the buttons you would 
expect that you have to swipe to the left.
You can record in MP3 format and you can also set up Dropbox to start recording 
immediately when you launch the app so you don't even have to double tap the 
record button.
Dropvox is, however, not free, it is $2.79 here in Canada so I assume it would 
be $1.99 in the States. It also hasn't been updated since October 2014. I am 
often a bit concerned when apps don't get updated, but this one is just a 
really simple recorder which for me does the trick and it seems to work 
perfectly fine with iOS 9 and also 10.

I once asked about recording Apps for my Iphone.. I got some great 
information.


However, I never looked in to anything, because I decided I didn't want 
to make long, or possibly long recordings on my phone, do to lack of space.


I was wondering, is Pro Recorder free?

Is this the password that is part of the initial set up? When I set up my 
iPhone 7, there was a point in the set up where I had to get my sighted husband 
to enter the password because, for some weird reason, VO was not reading the 
screen.

Sorry I don't have a solution, only a me too. But this is something we should 
definitely be telling Apple tech support.

I haven't used it much, but you basically have to move your BARD Braille 
files into Dropbox and export it from there into Voicebraille reader. Then 
in Voicebraille you need to turn voiceover off once you press the sxpeak 
button to begin reading. It's not fancy or perfect but does work and isn't 
difficult once you get the hang of it. Let me know if you need more help. 
For Tim, I think I got to it from the Appleviz site but it was a bit tricky 
to find so maybe a Google search? Of course, it may be removed, will try to 
find out later.

Is this the password that is part of the initial set up? When I set up
my iPhone 7, there was a point in the set up where I had to get my
sighted husband to enter the password because, for some weird reason,
VO was not reading the screen.

Sorry I don't have a solution, only a me too. But this is something we
should definitely be telling Apple tech support.

   Kathy,
I haven't used it much, but you basically have to move your BARD Braille 
files into Dropbox and export it from there into Voicebraille reader. Then 
in Voicebraille you need to turn voiceover off once you press the sxpeak 
button to begin reading. It's not fancy or perfect but does work and isn't 
difficult once you get the hang of it. Let me know if you need more help. 
For Tim, I think I got to it from the Appleviz site but it was a bit tricky 
to find so maybe a Google search? Of course, it may be removed, will try to 
find out later.

You need some kind of program to back translate the brf files to text.  I've 
been using Win bt to do this with the brf files from NLS.  I read the text 
files using voice dream reader.

Good luck with trying to arrange your feed from newest to  oldest.
That has never worked properly on FB (at least not as long as I've
been a user). It's not unique to VO users either because people are
always complaining about the order of posts on FB.

It is because uber doesn't have your real location. It is the same problem that 
I have. I have no way to know what is the current address for uber. Before I 
was able to select my location in the same way how now we are able to select 
destination. Like this it was easier and faster. We need to remember what is 
the meaning of accessibility. Accessibility means easy access. A lot of people 
believe that if someone after days of efforts is able to use an app, or a web 
page. It means that that web page is accessible. No, while an app is difficult 
to be use, it means that the level of inaccessibility is higher.
Now we have to type or current location, and when we are in winter, with gloves 
and covering our face, it is no easy to type any address. These are the steps 
back that the uber has done.

I always type in the address to pick me up, but I believe either Uber even maps 
that incorrectly, or just uses whatever it gets anyways. In fact, last night, 
the driver said that my pin showed up inside the building, not sure if it was

put in. The other not fun part was that the four minute ETA seemed to go on for 
about 15-20 minutes, as I believe they're trying to do things more like the

the eta finally started steadily going down, so I didn't do that. I wish it 
would give the time when we requested, so we could know when 5 minutes late 
after that first ETA is when we can then cancel fee free for that. I just 
thought he was sitting around at first going in circles somewhere across town.

I always type in the address to pick me up, but I believe either Uber even 
maps that incorrectly, or just uses whatever it gets anyways. In fact, last 
night, the driver said that my pin showed up inside the building, not sure 
if it was the correct one, as it was one on the wrong street, even with the 
right address put in. The other not fun part was that the four minute ETA 
seemed to go on for about 15-20 minutes, as I believe they're trying to do 
things more like the taxis in accepting the next trip while the previous one 
is going, and me and the previous passenger were on opposite sides of town, 
where it might actually take that long. I was about to cancel and try again 
after a certain time, when the eta finally started steadily going down, so I 
didn't do that. I wish it would give the time when we requested, so we could 
know when 5 minutes late after that first ETA is when we can then cancel fee 
free for that. I just thought he was sitting around at first going in 
circles somewhere across town.

There are a few things about the most recent Uber update that I don't like. 
But for the most part, I have figured out ways to work around a couple of my 
issues. I'm definitely annoyed with the fact that it no longer tells you 
what your current location is. So often, the GPS pan can be a few addresses, 
or blocks off. Therefore, I just wind up typing in my location, which is 
something that I did most of the time before the update anyway. I haven't 
done so yet, but I'm planning to write to Uber to voice my concerns about 
this most recent update.

I have been getting difficulties with uber since more than one month ago. 
Before I was able to select my pick up in a list of choices, now I have to 
find where I am. The current position doesn't work very well, because we 
know that GPS are no so accurate. Moreover before I had more control on 
the app, but in the last updates uber has done a lot of steps back.

over 100 channels?  And I can add HBO or Cennamax for five bucks each?  It’s
