This too would be my hands down preference. But maybe I’m just the Charlie

The two units I currently have are my third replacements on each. They’re both

I have not tried version three on iOS, but I tried the Windows version and
couldn't get it to work.

Hi,
Ah Kay I couldn’t have said it better than you did. I’m sure 2017 has been an
uphill crawl for many of us and I, like you was heartened by this message too.
Yay Mr. Mark.
Here’s to a sweet and happy 2018 for all of us. If we have some semblance of

hi, Mark and everyone, I enjoyed my Christmas holiday too. I have to tell you,
Mark, you’re an excellent moderator for this list, and I picked up so much

My Vox 3000 lasted me about 20 years and when it gave up the ghost recently I
saw online when I was looking for a new scale that My Weigh, the maker of the
Vox talking scales, has a 30-year warranty. I contacted them and they referred
me to a company called “Canadian Weigh” in Vancouver here in
I like Paprika 3 for iOS, before when you swiped through your recipe list it
took several swipes to go from one recipe to the next because Voiceover read
also other information, now the list seems simpler and cleaner to navigate.
Haven't used it yet, but in Paprika 3 you can now ask SIRI to add i
A friend of mine sent me this message. He uses a Windows PC. I have no clue how

Hey Mark, thanks for your post. This last year has been kind of a rough one for
me, with brain surgery and a bunch of other stuff which by the way turned out
fine. Sometimes I get tired of the commercialism of Christmas and just feeling
tired and I hesitate to say depressed. It's great to read a

I did have a Cobalt talking kitchen scale, but that thing only weighed to every
5 or 10 grams or so. Not good enough for accurate measuring.
I would be interested in knowing what other scale you had if it’s something
other than a My Weigh or Cobalt.

Those Vox scales are crap. I had one die on me a month or so ago. So
frustrating!
I did buy another talking scale though I need to look up the brand. it was a
bit more expensive than the vox scale but seems to be more durable, at least so
far. I too would be interested in knowing how accessibl
I’ ve noticed siri is not as smart as she used to be. At least for me since ios

Hello list,
I was wondering if anyone’s had experience with any smart kitchen scales and
whether they’ve found any of their accompanying apps to be VoiceOver
accessible?
I read this San Francisco Chronicle article on smart appliances and how in
general they’re not catching on:

The next to the last key in that top row has a picture of a lock and a camera,

thanks Martin. I will take a look later. I will definitely look at all of 10
alternatives I can find before that time as I don't really want to pay out that
much extra to go and get it from somewhere out of the UK.
