the biggest difference is that you don't get burned with the Instant Pot you
take a grave chance the old fashion way. You also don't have to monitor the
pressure like you do the old way.

Yes, what you say is exactly true, it is an electric pressure cooker, but
unlike the stove top models which have been around forever, it was market as
something completely new and revolutionary with all the different programs and
basically it was a reinvention of the wheel. But of course we see
That is true, but some key facts from the article are:
In court filings, the company says it generated operating cash flows of just
$17.9 million US in the first three months of the year. That relatively meagre
figure is a sharp contrast to the more than $500 million US worth of debt on

Here is a quote from the article that Feliciano sent:
"The company’s sales of “electronic multicooker devices,” which primarily
includes Instant Pots, reached $758 million in 2020, the start of the pandemic.
Since last year sales for those products Link ‑ plunged 50% to $344 million,

Definitely there are other options and some have been discussed on here,. One I
believe was from a company called Cosori, but many exist from well-known brands
like T-Fal, Breville and others.
My article was simply meant as an interest read for those who have Instant Pots
and have an interest
I agree. They filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy. I quote
The bankruptcy process will not impact the ability to purchase products as
Instant Brand will operate as usual with the help of $132.5 million in new
financing.
I am not a user of the Insta pot or any other pressure cooker.
However, I did a quick duckduckgo.com search for Smart Pressure Cooker and
found one by Chef IQ at Amazon. Regular price $200, with the 20% off coupon on
the site it is $160.
I know nothing else or if the app is accessible, but
It’s important to recognize the difference between the two different kinds of bankruptcy filings. Instant filed under Chapter 11, which means they are trying to re-organize, not just go out of business. Apparently they do have a financing group ready to infuse more money into their business, but
I’ve had my Bluetooth IP for eight or so years now. I always expected it to
last longer than the supported app and for a while, that seemed to be the case
until I guess enough people complained about the situation where they put out
an app update. I suppose now we’ll see how long the Bluetooth

This may help. It is that voiceover is coming through the ear piece, not the speaker. I think that I remember that it is easier to use with headphones than trying to hear it through the ear hole on your phone and do things with it. I hope this is the case, you will have to hear voiceover to do
Hopefully someone else has the answer. I only thought of that one because it
resolved a similar problem I was having several years ago.

Go into Settings, Accessibility, Voiceover, Audio. Be sure Audio Ducking is
set to on. I think that should solve your problem.

Hm they will be around for a while. Instant pots are great for quick
meals or large families.

At one time I was able to use the amazon music app on my iPhone, and could hear
Voice Over just fine. I do not know why, but the volume of Voice Over has been
muted, or turn down. Does anybody know how to adjust it? Thanks and have a nice
day!

it’s not really a craze. there have been rice cookers, pressure cookers, and
slow cookers forever. this just combines them, and does it well, imo.

all the instant pot is is an electric pressure cooker. you are still making
things from scratch. people have been cooking under pressure for ever. it was
easy convenient, and quick, and you get perfect rice everytime. it might not be
branded “instant pot” but these devices are going nowhere,
mine is still going strong after four years. I have the Instant Pot Dual crisp.

I know many on the list bought into the Instant Pot craze about 4 or 5 years
ago, I kept considering it and was waitiand waiting for the new Smart model
(not the Bluetooth one) to come out and to be available for a reasonable price
here in Canada. At one point it was somewhat reasonable, but I
