We have a Ring Doorbell and one of their other cameras and it works OK, but
it's also a bit strange when somebody rings the doorbell and you tap on the
notification sound along with Voiceover goes to the earpiece and then it's very

Alan,
I set screen recognition on for amazon music only via the per app settings.
Thanks,

Hi
Hi Feliciano, I'm glad you got screen recognition active in Amazon Music and are now experiencing what I was no doubt poorly communicating. I agree that the Amazon Music app needs accessibility improvements and thank you for writing them with your comments. I'm finding that whenever I encounter an

I do enjoy apple music as well as Spotify. I use different music streaming

Alan,
I stand corrected. I reviewed my settings and although screen recognition was
enabled for the rotor, it looks like I had forgotten to enable it via voiceover
settings.
Enabling screen recognition did help, but I still had to label some buttons.

I’m not so sure about this. Amazon has addressed accessibility issues in the
past. VoiceView is pretty much directly a result of pressure that was brought
to bear on Amazon over accessibility. One thing I know for sure though, is that

I know this isn't strictly related, but I also found that using the web
interface for Amazon Music isn't particularly accessible either. I want a music
streaming service that I could access from as many devices as possible, so I

Feliciano, I'm not trying to be contentious here but I disagree that turning screen recognition on in the Amazon Music app has no impact. It makes a difference in what VoiceOver speaks on my iPhone 13 Mini running iOS 16.6. Perhaps you have your settings different or don't know how to turn screen
Hello All,
I have to admit, when compared to the outstanding VoiceOver accessibility of
the Kindle app for iOS, the Amazon Music app for iOS is woefully lacking.
While one can certainly employ various VoiceOver workarounds, with varying
degrees of success, the experience is not, in my opinion,

Allan,
Screen recognition doesn’t work on Amazon music app for iPhone. Labeling
buttons works to an extent. I have tried various alternatives with no luck.
Amazon is huge, they just need people to make noise if they want something to
be done about it.
Spotify has figured it out, so it’s not
Hi Ivan,I am running the developer beta version seven of iOS 17 and have all of my eloquence voices. If you are not finding them in yours, I would recommend rebooting the phone to see if they come back. It's always a good idea to reboot your phone after installing an update to iOS.Sent from my
Feliciano, Ok, but you might want to include details such as a copy of what you sent to Amazon Support when asking others to report an accessibility issue. I do have an Amazon Music Unlimited subscription and I'm not experiencing the accessibility issues you described even on the now playing
Hi,
I didn’t explain here as I have already explained to amazon. I am having issues

having abnormal behavior when swiping on occasion which triggers the app to go

Hi all,
anyone else impacted by the latest update of Amazon music for iPhone? If so,
please join me and report this bug to amazon music department. The easiest way
to contact them is to contact amazon music via twitter (X) or calling Amazon

Hi Terri,
I love the WW app! I have been using it for almost 2 years now and find it to

and I eventually left the program because of it. The
Hello everyone,
I was wondering, can anyone tell me if the Weightwatchers App is accessible?
I was considering giving it a try. But before I even decide to look at

Any information would be appreciated.

Actually in the latest developer beta 7 (I think it was released yesterday)
there are no Eloquence voices at all. Whether it was intended or not
remains to be seen.

Dear all
I am very confused.
I like it to work with the VO commands and I cannot use the letter M in
combination to ctrl+option as I type this keystroke, the M changes into
semi-colon.
I explain: I want to go to the status bar typing VO+M that brings up a
dialog: lock or unlock special keys.

The error is due to the app being outdated, which is why it is having a
problem accessing the necessary directory and uploading the recordings as
well.

Hi, everyone,
I use the RecUp app on another iPhone sometimes to record phone calls when I

Unfortunately, my iPhone 6S seems to have grown legs and wandered off somewhere
in the house. I found my old iPhone 4S which I

Hello Sherry:
iOS 14 was when screen recognition was added.
I think that was after the iPhone 8 was introduced.
Good luck with your search.
