Hi all, I went today to Radio Shack and bought their plug adapter that plugs into a standard wall outlet that has two USB ports so that I can charge several of my bluetooth devices like my bluetooth headset or my bluetooth speaker or even my mophia juice battery pack all at the same time. This 2 port adapter only cost 21 with tax. They didn't have the 4 port adapter so I got the 2 port adapter and this will work for me for what I have . IOS 8.4 and Music app
Hi all, Earlier this afternoon I downloaded the newest software update which is ios 8.4. Well I went to the music app on my home screen and double tapped on it. Okay, In the left top hand corner it says my account. And I'm in my library where all my alblums are listed. At the bottom of the screen from left to right are my music, for you, what is for you and what does it do? new, what is new? radio, what exactly is radio? and connect. What does connect do? Hi Chris, What I ended up doing was deleteing the voice dream writer app and reinstalling it. Then I opened the app for the first time and I selected to create a name for the document . Then after I was done writing in the document I double tapped on the file manager and it's there . So everything is fine now. By the way now that I'm learning to use this app I'm loving it a lot. Another question about voice dream writer
Hi all, Okay after Iwas done writing in the document in voice dream writer, I didn't even see a back button so I'm assuming I then double tap on the file manager to save the document. Well I did that and I don't see my documents where are they saved to? Also, I noticed that iCloud is enabled but it says something like your files are cyncronized with iCloud and accessible from other devices. I only have one device. So does this mean I have to go to my iCloud to see my documents that I was working on in the voice dream writer app?I don't remember doing anything with iCloud and where is iCloud at? I thought my documents are supposed to be saved in the voice dream writer app and if so are they stored in the file manager ? I need a little help with this. Thanks. a few dropbox questions
Hi all, I have a couple of dropbox questions. I have a few emails that have inportant information I need to keep. And a couple of these emails have attachments to them with information I also need to keep. My questions are 1. how can I get the emails and attachments over to my dropbox on my computer ? Once I do this then once I open my dropbox on my iPhone the emails and attachments will be there on my phone. 2. Also, once the emails and attachments are in my dropbox on my phone, how do I create a folder so that I can name it and put these emails and attachments in the fold er in my dropbox on my iPhone? transfering from one app to another app
Hi all, I need some help please. I typed some notes that I need for a Society of the Blind meeting I'm running tomorrow. I typed these notes in my notes app. What are the steps to transfer my notes from my notes app to my prizmo app so that I can read my notes and how do I name my notes so that I can find them in my prizmo app? I have my Society of the blind agenda in my prizmo app. So I figured I'll have my notes for the meeting in the prizmo app with my Society of the Blind agenda. I have drop box, voice dream reader and voice writer which of these apps are the best to keep notes I make for a meeting and meeting agenda in ? Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. i watch app
Hi all, I have a question for you all. I noticed earlier today that I have a i watch app on my phone. I don't know where it came from. I did upgrade my phone when I got the latest software update. So I'm wondering when you upgrade to the latest software, do you automatically get the i watch app? I never went to the app store and downloaded such a app. Any thoughts on this ? question about voice dream writer
Hi all, I have voice dream writer on my phone. I also read the description about this app before I decided to download it on to my phone. Since this is a writer app what I want to know is how do you start writing in this app and how to open a document so I can start writing in it? I don't want to sound stupid hear but if one doesn't know then we ask right. So that's what I'm doing.I know that you can proof read a document, spell check a word and do so much more in it. I don't want to be judged or cridicised hear by anyone because I don't know something. This app will definitely improve my writing and spelling and help correct any mistakes I do make. knfb reader I have a question

When I go to line up my document using the camera and I go to double tap on the field of view report and the built in voice and voice over are speaking at the same time. successfully got logged in to the bard website
Hi all, I finally got logged in to the website using a temporary password then once I logged in I changed my password to something of my own. I downloaded 14 books last night to my computer. I also got the same new password that I'm using to log in from my computer for the moble bard app as well. Trouble logging in to the bard site
Hi all, Last night I was having problems logging in to the main bard site from my computer. So I changed my password to a new one and I was able to successfully log in and download books to my computer. Today, I went to the main bard site from my computer and it won't let me log in with the new password I used last night. Also as of today I can't log in on the moble bard app on my phone either. I also last night successfully chaged my old pass word to a new one but like I've said I can't log in to the moble bard app either. So I have 2 questions to ask. 1. Has anyone else besides myself been having any problems with logging in to the main bard web site or loging in to the moble bard web site? 2. I had to try many of times with different passwords that I thought would work but failed until I came apon the right password that allowed me to log in to the bard website successfully. Encrypted backup
Hi all, When I back up my iPhone I always do an encrypted back up of my iPhone by connecting the phone cable to my computer and to iTunes so that everything on my phone is back up to the computer. Do I have this right? Anyhow, I have a question about the encrypted back up and that is do I have to make sure certain things are checked like apps ect? Hi all, I was wondering if pac man is assessable with voice over and works well with iPhone 5? What other arcade games might be accessable with voice over? So when I want something to read I will press play to have it start reading that way I won't get 2 voices reading at the same time which drived me crazy. I love my KNFB Reader
Hi all, I have listened to the podcast demonstration of the KNFB Reader and I have read both the quick start and the full manual on the KNFB Reader. I have successfully scanned two different documents that have several pages to it and have sscanned all pages of the documents with the process multi page document button and have saved and named the documents and are now in the file explorer . I'm already loving my knfb reader and I'm having fun useing it. I find for me it's easier for me to use my stand scan with my iPhone and then make my aajustments after I tapp on the field of view report so that I can make sure all four corners are showing in the camera before taking my picture. I do have a question though, I noticed that I'm hearing 2 voices at the same time when it's reading a document. Do I need to enable voiceover when reading a document? Hi Isaac , Sieghard and all, I just got done listening to the podcast demonstration on the knfb reader. It has a lot of cool features in this app. I haven't practice with it yet but I will over the weekend but I'm going to love this app a lot. I also have read the user manual on the knfb reader. I also saved the podcast of the demonstration in sarfari successfully yesterday. This is a very cool app and I know I'm going to love it and use this app a lot. So it was werth the price I paid for it even though I paid full price for it. Hi Joseph, Okay, I have another question related to my credit card information I want to update. I have my new credit card information stored in my iPassword app. Like the expiration date and the three number code on the back of the credit card. Well I haven't had to go into i password for a while and when I open i password, there's a keyboard with just numbers to enter my password and I have a four number passcode I enter to unlock the app so I can get to the information I want. It also says please enter your password At the top of the screen on the left side it says hint and then on the right side of the screen at the top it has three dots. If I double tap on the first dot the number pad goes away and you now have nine round circles that look like they repersent numbers from 1 to 9. . I'm confused here and don't know how I can enter my four didgit code to ounlock the app so I access the information I want to retrieve. I had no problems before using this app can you help and give me some suggestions on what to do to get this working for me again. Have you ever used i password.? Hi all, I need to update my credit card information . This is the credit card that I have on file to pay for purchases I made from the app store and my receipt comes from the iTune store.So how do I go and update my credit card information? Still haven't seen any updates
Hi all, I still haven't seen any updates since January 5th . I have my updates turned off in the iTunes and app store under automatic downloads. I'm assuming that when there's an update to any of my apps it will tell me that I have so many updates and then I can download and update any of my apps then. automatic downloads
Hi Sieghard and all, When I go into settings and go to iTunes and app store and under the automatic download heading I do have updates turned off so that I will get notified when there is an update to manually download the apps I want. But I also was wanting to know under the same heading do I also turn off apps or do I leave it turned on? Wouldn't apps be the same thing as updates because updates is allowing me to update my apps I already have to a newest version of what ever app is being updated. Hi all, I haven't seen an update in my apps in the app store under updates. How do I make sure I'm seeing my updates of my apps to download under the updates in the app store when a new version of the app comes out. Now I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this with their apple wireless bluetooth keyboards, when I go to type a capital letter usually you turn on your caplocks to get a capitalize letter but no, not the case. I have to leave my capslock off and that will make a capitalized letter and when I turn my capslock on that will allow me to make a lowercase letter. So how do I go about setting the first event to be on the second thursday of the month and the second event to be on the fourth Thursday of the month? I'm running the latest version of ios 8.12 but when I go to use the app to enter theinformation into the calender I can't get the keyboard to work. Under the repeat heading is never, everyday, every week, every 2 weeks, every month, every year, and there's custome . I did double tapp on custome . I need both the second and fourth Thursday. I don't find anything that says the second or fourth Thursday My Lion meetings are on the second and fourth Thursday of the month. Any help would be appreciated. Calendar question
Hi all, I already know how to enter all my calendar information in after I select a date and then double tap on the add button. But what I don't know how to do is the meetings I want to put in are on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. So how do I select the second and fourth Thursdays of each month so that it says the meeting is on the second and fourth Thursday of the month ? Thanks. new bluetooth speaker
Hi all, This morning my fiance got me a Syren bluetooth speaker for my iPhone 5. This bluetooth speaker is portable and you can carry it or hold it with one hand. But what I like about this bluetooth speaker it's very light weight and very portable to take with me anywhere and I can put it in my purse. It has a on and off button,volumes up and down, and the middle button is a all purpose button that has the features of a play/puls so I can listen to music. Plus on this middle button that is a all purpose button it also has the feature to answer phone calls. It was very easy to pair with my iPhone which I already did. The Syren bluetooth speaker sounds really good and it has a very good distance raidious to the speaker. I have a bluetooth headphone which I love to use but my bluetooth headphones are ones that go over my ears when wearing them. And I have used my bluetooth head phones when out walking listening to music while whalking but when I came to a street crossing I would have to remove the head phones from my ears to be able to hear traffic and what was around me. Well now I can carry my portable bluetooth speaker in my purse and I can turn the volume up a little bit so when I'm walking I can still listen to music or answer a call if it comes in and still listen to the traffic and my surroundings and be able to cross a street safely. Hi all, I was just wondering where do I go to find gift cards to purchase? I want to purchase the KNFB Reader. If I can purchase a gift card , thenmaybe I wouldn't have to pay the full price of the KNFB Reader. Has anyone paid full price for their KNFB Reader? backing up my iPhone
Hi all, Earlier today I got a message on my phone that said something like this phone hasn't been back up. So my question is which way is the best way to do a back up of my iPhone? Can I do it on my phone it self or do I need to connect my phone to my computer and sync and do a back up through iTunes? Can someone give me step by step directions on how to do this? Hi Charles and Joseph, Firstly, I want to say that I earlier had to download the latest version of iTunes first before I could do a back up. I successfully downloaded the latest version of iTunes. I decided to do a backup through iTunes having my iPphone connected to itunes. I just got done doing a back up just a few minutes ago. It says last sync today at 11:25 PM.
