Would the ear pods that came with the I phone also work like a blue tooth
headset when pressing the button on the ear buds?

Arnold, I use the I phone 5S and like you, have not always found the two finger
double tap to be reliable either ending or answering a call. With IOS 9, I
find it easy to find the "answer" and "end call" buttons easy to locate and
then do a one finger double tap for those buttons.

screen with a four finger double tap to see what each gesture does including
