RE: Record audio button has gone in iMessage

Yes. That is what I did too Richard. Deleted them from my favourites. All done
now, no more annoying apps only the audio and photo ones.

I had to do one more step.
I flicked up to remove, but when I was done, they were all still there.
I went back and found that after removing them again, I found them in the list
after the word favorites, and then when flicking up, the option was delete.
That took care of it.

Other than Photos and Store, if you want more than just Audio there, you can
also move them up and down in the list to put the things you use most closer to
the beginning of the list.

Hi all,
If you are one that uses the audio message feature daily, I would highly
recommend that you manage the messaging apps. You can remove all the clutter by
removing the apps that you don’t need and then it won’t be a big deal to leave
the apps expanded. Follow these instructions to remove apps:
One. Open messages app.
Two. Access one of your context conversations.
Three. Expand apps, if it’s not already.
Four. Scroll through all the apps, until you find more and activate it.
Five. Here, you can swipe up and delete the apps that you don’t need to have in
this section.

Note: you cannot delete photos and store, but you can remove the rest to
minimize clutter. This will not delete apps from your phone, simply removes
these messaging appS from being in the way. You can always add them later by
following the above steps.
Hope that helps

Both models from the outside are exactly the same; the difference between them

an 11 (the Bionic 13A), the 2022 model has the inwards of the 13 with a 15
Bionic chip. Hope this helps some.

The short answer is newer hardware, newer and faster processer, and maybe more
important, it can use 5G.

I don’t recall off hand the other differences but probably other memory options
and maybe more color choices.

You’re welcome. The new audio message location was annoying as I use it daily.
However, it’s not that big of a deal anymore. Just a bit of an adjustment.
Also, for the above instructions, don’t forget to activate done button after

Thanks for this tip, Richard!
I did wonder where the audio recording button had gone!

The Record button, now just called Audio, is buried in with the extra buttons
for photos, store, etc. If like me, you had hidden those buttons because they
are distracting, you will have to unhide them to do an audio message. Kind of
annoying, though I never send audio text messages, but this seems like an extra
step that shouldn't be needed.

If you have the Apps hidden, flick left from the message text to the Apps icon
and triple tap. Now, below the text and before the keyboard are all the app
icons. Audio for me is I think the third one.
Triple tap that apps button again to hide all that clutter.

That is a neat thing you can do to end a call!

It works fine for me.

It is by default enabled.

Just in case, check:

Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.

>From the options, double tap Accessibility.

Scroll down and under “PHYSICAL AND MOTOR”, double tap on Touch.

Look for Prevent lock to end call, which defaults to off. If you don't want
the side/lock button to end calls, double tap to turn that on.

Remember, it both ends the call and locks the phone.

You can also say Hey Siri, hang up call if you use Hey Siri, or hold the side
button in and say hang up call.

brings some sort of nos nostalgia or something. right now I’m using eloquence,

all in English it was just singing to me. Anyway, how do you like Stephanie?

IPhone SE 2022

2022-08-24 Thread manyofus1980
Hi everyone

I have the IPhone SE 2020!

I want to upgrade later this year to the SE 2022 model.

Is there much of a difference between the SE 2020 and the SE 2022?

Does the SE 2022 still have a home button?

I want a phone with the home button, my main reason for sticking with the Se
model.
