In short, no.

SiriusXM is still the most reliable way to get NFL broadcasts.

They do not have archives of games though, which some people want.

Hi Duane,

As I said, your favorites in the StarPlayrX app can be found on the channels
tab.

On that main screen, just swipe until you hear All Stars. Just double tap on
that and you will be on the screen with your list of favorites.

A couple of tips about the StarPlayrX app.

* After selecting a channel, on the channel screen, you will see a preset
toggle button. This is the favorites button, so just double tap on it to turn
it on and add it to your favorites.

* Now to find your favorites, just double tap on the All Stars choice on the
main screen. You will have 3 or 4 default stations that the app puts there,
but after that will be listed your favorites.

So once you find the stations you want, add them to your favorites, and then
there is no more searching.

And have you checked under Notifications > Mail > Customize Notifications that
a sound is selected for each of your accounts?

Also, double check in Notifications > Mail that banners are in fact selected
and also display on lock screen if that is what you want.

For some reason my mail sounds were turned off after the update to iOS 15 and I
had to reenable them, but on my iPhone 11 Mail and other notifications are all
coming in as they As they should whether the phone is locked or not. Keep in
mind that now with the notification summary option and the various focus
options this may also have an effect if maybe you accidently turned on
notification summary and Mail is going into the summary.

they’re both locked, then I now get alerts on both devices. The iPhone on iOS
15 (that is locked). And the other iPhone that’s still on iOS 14.8.

I don't have that issue, either. I just sent my self a test email and made sure
my phone was unlocked and on the home screen and my iPhone played the email
sound I have set for my personal account.

I normally have banners for Mail turned off and also don't have it show up in
Notification Centre, but I enabled temporary banners just to test it and sent
myself another message with the subject "Another Test".

When it arrived the sound played and Voiceover said "Mail Sieghard Weitzel,
Another Test, no content". The no content of course because I didn't actually
write anything in the message body.

The one major bug I’m dealing with and don’t recall reading about in the
AppleVis write-up is that when the phone is unlocked, notifications are silent.
I don’t know if for sighted people the banner comes up, but with VoiceOver at
least, you are left oblivious as to any sort of incoming notification. In my
case, I deal with time sensitive emails so it was turning into a bigtime
annoyance for me. I thought it might have to do with the new focus settings in
iOS 15, but after monkeying around with that for a while and other settings
like having VoiceOver speak notifications, nothing changed.

I finally called Apple Accessibility on Friday after the work week was done and
explained my issue. Turns out, it’s a known bug and they’re “workig on it.” Not
much Solace since that pretty much means wait till iOS 15.1 comes out.

Anyway, he documented my call and bug report. He said the more people contact
them about it, the better. So… get on it people and bug Apple about it if
you’re experiencing this too.

If the phone’s locked or even if I’m on a phone call, the notifications do come
in. It’s just when it’s unlocked and in use that there is no sound whatsoever.
Again, no idea if the banners are still popping up, but even

Hi All,

For those of you who recently ordered the Air Pods Max, I received an update
this morning. I ordered the Sky Blue Pods and was supposed to receive them
between April 19 and 26. Now, they are scheduled to be delivered between March
23 and 30. So hopefully, yours will come sooner as well.

Best,

Les

The AirPods Pros have a charging case you can either directly connect or use
wireless charging for. The AirPod Max is connected by a charging cable to one

He said that he thought David had something configured wrong, but he has been
told he sounds “amazing” when talking to people with the headphones and has
made recordings for podcasts with them, clearly implying no negative feedback.

He also had listened to the podcast.

I would never make a purchase decision based on a podcast where who the heck
knows what might have ben misconfigured. I will try them and if they sound
bad, they will go back the next day.

It is best to try them for oneself because of the clear subjectivity of audio.

If by that feature, you are talking about the transparency mode, according to
the folks on the Tech Doctor podcast, you hear things very clearly and in
stereo. So sounds from the left, are on your left, etc.

If you are talking about the live listen mode, I’ve only read about it but it
uses the iPhone microphone so you hear whatever the iPhone hears in mono. It
is intended to be like a pocket talker I think, which is a special device for
the hearing impaired, so you could give your phone to someone at a table in a
noisy room and you would hear them over the room noise.

It’s clear to me about this article 2 things.

1. This is a windows user

2. They haven’t done there homework.

Note: I am not the author of this article!

Introduction

The modern era has brought many advantages for those who are blind or visually
impaired. One of the most important tools a blind user uses with modern
computing devices is a screen reader. Traditionally, screen readers have been
very expensive third-party programs that were very difficult to obtain
depending on one’s financial status. However, several free yet capable screen
readers have emerged in the last 20 years. The two that we will be discussing
are Apple’s VoiceOver for macOS and the Nonvisual Desktop Access or NVDA for
Windows. Both are powerful screen readers in their own right, but they have
their strengths and weaknesses which I will discuss in more detail. Hopefully
by the end of this article, you will have a better understanding of each
product and its individual strengths/weaknesses.

NVDA

Nonvisual Desktop Access or NVDA for short is a free and open source screen
reader for the Microsoft Windows operating system. The organization behind the
project is an Australian company called NV Access (
www.nvaccess.org). It has been around since 2006 and primarily competes with
the JAWS for Windows screen reader produced by Freedom Scientific or Vispero as
they are now known by. It offers many of the same features that JAWS offers and
should be suitable for 99% of screen reader users. The philosophy behind NVDA
is extremely compelling. It is offered free of charge to anyone in the world,
meaning there is no longer a financial barrier for blind people to work, learn,
or do anything else on a computer. NV Access does rely on donations, either
from individuals or grants from large companies, so if you can donate, it is
very much worth it to help this amazing project continue long into the future.
The obvious benefit is that a blind person can compete on a level playing field
with sighted peers at no more cost than anyone else. Updates to NVDA are also
free, and NV Access releases 3-4 updates per year that fix bugs and add new
features.

Since NVDA is open source,
anyone is free to review the source code and propose changes. While anyone can
propose a change and submit code, it’s still reviewed and approved by NV Access
before it is included in anything anyone can download. This ensures the
security of the software from unauthorised changes and means that the final
product available from https://www.nvaccess.org/
is just as secure and well vetted as the closed source from another company.
Thousands of people from all over the world constantly contribute to the
project which benefits everyone in the end. NVDA is a screen reader made for
the blind by the blind. NV Access is overseen by a board of directors (of whom
at least 33% must be blind or vision impaired, according to their
 constitution.

VoiceOver

  VoiceOver is
Apple’s built-in and the only screen reader for the Mac. It has been around
since 2005, although the last significant update was in 2011 with Mac OS X
Lion. VoiceOver works well with Apple’s built-in apps and used to be very
reliable. Since it is built into the system, anyone can walk up to a Mac
running a modern version of macOS and get it talking by pressing Command+F5.
Apple should be commended for building a very capable screen reader into the
system and showing the rest of the world that it is possible to build very
robust accessibility features into mainstream products.

As previously mentioned, however, VoiceOver is not as reliable as it could or
should

The app does not do a very good job of allowing you to flick through
categories. I think because visually they have pictures of the book cover,
though I do not know why it repeats.

You do not seem to be able to check the price in the app because you cannot buy
from within the app. You can add it to your list, etc.

I find the web site far easier to use for browsing and for buying for that very
reason.

Before I switched to libro.fm, I had the Gold membership for basically $149 per
year for 12 credits, which comes out to about $12.50 per book.
There is also the platinum plan for I think about $240 per year for 24 credits.

Since Amazon owns both Audible and Alexa, once you have a book in your Audible
Library, you can just ask Alexa to play that title. This assumes you are using
the same account for both, which you probably are.

I switched to Libro.fm because I'm not buying that many books because I can
usually get them here in the United States through NLS, or Bookshare,.
When I want a human read book, I will buy it through Libro.fm because I can
play them on anything that plays mp3 files and a local bookstore gets half of
the price.
The only books they do not have that Audible has are the Audible Originals.

Subject: Some questions about the Audible app

Hi I just subscribed to Audible.com although I'm in Canada.
I installed the app on my phone but I have a few questions.
First is there a way in the app to view an entire category of books meaning I
can scan through several books but then it just seems to repeat them so
wondering if there is a way to go through an entire category or genre without
having to go on to the website.
Also if I decide to purchase a book is there a way to see the price of the book
instead of just letting me know I can buy for one credit so I can decide
whether it is best to use a credit or just cheaper to buy the book out right.
Is there anything else I should know or that would be helpful before I start
downloading and listening to books.
Finally I have an echo Dot and I am wondering how I can link my audible account
so that I can listen to the books I have in my library on my device.
Lastly when it comes to the different membership options which choice do some
of you guys have and why and what one do you feel provides the best value for
money.
Thanks in advance.
Jen

RE: Attention, Easier Way to Play SiriusXM

accomplish this?

Shirley,

Were you able to log into your Sirius account with the StarPlayrX app? There
isn't a lot to figure out once your logged in. All the available channels are
presented in categories and as you drill down on them, the channels are listed
in text lists with the channel number provided. I find it much easier to get
info about my available channels using this app and I can then ask Alexa to
play them on my Echo.

I've not been able to do much with the app as far as my phone goes. I can tell
my echo device to play a specific channel but when opening the app on my phone,
I am not sure how to make it work. I was able to read the list of holiday
channels.

I’ve not owned an Apple watch before, but just know that between Series 3 and

Hi there,

I’d like some thoughts from anyone who has the newest Apple watch. I’m
seriously thinking about upgrading from my current series 3. Aside from that,
I’ve been having trouble upgrading to the latest watch version, which makes me
think I should upgrade anyway.

What do people like about the newer watch, and what are some of the advantages
to upgrading? What are some disadvantages or things you’ve found don’t work
well yet? Is it worth the upgrade? What about VoiceOver and accessibility
issues or glitches?

I know I can get some money for my current watch and use it toward a trade-in.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Jim

I also found that game day pro football was not what it was cracked up to be.
I found that I wasn’t able to listen to my local station broadcast of the game.
I didn’t go all through the list of stations, but the first four or five.

I gave up quickly, as wanted to listen to the game, so just left it on the TV.

Maybe I didn’t give it a fighting chance, but will try to see if I get better
results when I am watching a game that I don’t care about as much as the one
last night.

Such a great game! Go Hawks!

Subject: Brief summary of the apple Event, no new iPhone announced

The event lasted a little over an hour and was nicely audio described.

Today’s event focused on the Watch Series 6 running Watch OS7 with a new blood
oxygen censor, new sleep app, Family setup so each family member has their own
phone number on the watch so everyone doesn’t need their own phone, and an
always on altimeter. The Family Setup with the phone numbers requires the
cellular model.

Starting price $399 probably for Wi-Fi… available Friday, September 18th,
orderable today.

Also, the lower cost Watch SE that has many of the new features of the Series
6, but not the blood oxygen censor, starts at $279. Also available Friday the
18th.

New iPad 8th generation and a new iPad Air both running iPad OS14.

iPads won’t be available until next month.

All the operating systems, iOS 14, iPad OS 14, and TV OS 14 will be released
tomorrow, the 16th.

No mention at all about a new phone.

RE: audio Stream of NFL Games

2020-09-14 Thread richring
I think MLB and NHL handle audio much better than the NFL. Yes, for MLB you pay
an annual fee, but you can stream any game without wondering whether or not a
feed will work!

I use an app called Game Day. Results may vary because many of the links it
presents are either dead or broadcast something other than the game, but I can
usually find some links that work. i was able to listen to the Vikings-packers
and 49ers-Cardinals games yesterday using this app.
It's not great, but it's cheap and certainly better than nothing.

I have used the game day pro ap, and found it to be very good. Main issue is
that it does not broadcast the national or westwood 1 feeds. It only does the
local. I used tune in most of the time, because it did have national feeds for
the Sunday night, Monday and thursday night games.

great!
2. Pro Football Radio and live scores, by Red Ripe media 99¢ has not been

3. Pro Football radio and live scores plus highlights by JJACR Apps LLC 99¢

Good morning, Linda.
Are use an app called Pro Radio. In the App Store, it is two words, the P on
pro and we are on radio must be capitalized in the search.
It hasn’t been updated for a while, but, I used it over the weekend, and it
worked great.
It has stations for all 32 teams
I think it is $1.99, but definitely worth it Let us know how it goes

I've always used the Irish male voice, well, at least for over a year, and had
no problems after the latest update.

Hi,

Siri has stopped talking. For example, when I ask Siri to spell a word I get
silence. I can use finger gestures to spell out the word, but until a couple

ask something else.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

The basics are pretty easy. The menu button will get you into where you can
change things and read instructions. However, all you need to do is hold your
phone flat and above the card. Move the phone an listen for the tone which will
get louder as more text is detected. If the tone gets quieter, you've lost
focus on some text. When you have a loud stable tone, double tap on the
"capture image" button and the text will be scanned. Settings in the app let
you determine if it's read out loud or not among other things. I find it best
to use the app with VoiceOver hints disabled so the hint doesn't talk over the
text which is read. However, the hints are useful to learn what's what. Hope
that helps you get started. It's a beautifully intuitive system.

I really enjoyed For All mankind. Also, the documentary shows Dear and Home.
Also, the reboot of Amazing Stories was quite good in my humble opinion.

Trying to subscribe to Apple TV Plus, and I'm caught in a loop

2020-06-07 Thread richring
I'm trying to subscribe to Apple TV Plus, and I seem to be caught in a never
ending loop. I attempt to subscribe, I click the continue button, and I am
asked to confirm with side button. I press the side button and I'm back at
the screen with the continue button. I press the continue button and I'm
asked to confirm with side button. I simply don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I'm using an iPhone 11 with iOS 13.5.1.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I watched a free episode of a series
called "defending Jacob" and I really want to see more of the series!

Actually, the one that you're referring to was one of my older ones. This one
has a USB port on the very top edge of the keyboard and it holds a charge for a
long time. I really haven't figured out the length of time, but it's perhaps a
few months. I use this keyboard all the time because I feel I can type faster
than trying to type on the phone. However, I do like to type on the phone just
to keep up my skills on the touch screen. Good luck on whatever keyboard you
choose.

Hi, Fazil,

I have the Magic Bluetooth keyboard which actually comes from Apple. It is a
regular-sized, very light keyboard, and I carry it in a large sized Ziplock bag
and keep its cord in a smaller Ziplock bag. It is not foldable, but I love it
because the weight is very light, is so easy and I am a fast typist. However,
I always check my messages before I send them just in case I make an error.
Good luck in your keyboard search.

Like Matthew, my Outlook for iOS is displaying my available contacts when I
execute the Compose button in the upper right corner of the screen to begin a
new message and start typing characters in the To field. You should read the
below which I copied from the Outlook for iOS FAQs section to make sure your
contacts are available to the app.

How do I save my Outlook contacts to my iOS contacts app?

To save Outlook contacts to your native address book:

First go to Device Settings > Contacts and confirm that the “Default Account”
is set to “iCloud”. If you do not see this setting that is OK, the setting
should only be available if you have more than one account added to your
device. If there is no account connected to the device, then your Outlook
contacts will be saved locally but will not be synced to other devices.

Second, open Outlook for iOS and in the left nav view open the Settings gear >
Select your account > Toggle ON the “Save Contacts” toggle.

Saved contacts will be added under the contacts in your iCloud account. These
contacts will sync to all devices which are signed in with the same iCloud
account. Note: You can only export contacts from one device at a time.

If a user has contact-export turned on both their iPad and iPhone one will need
to be disabled so that we are able to manage conflicts. Duplicates can take up
24 hours to be reconciliated.

Yes.

You may also consider joining the Orbit Reader list.

It is a very nice, compact display.

The fact that it can open txt files and you can edit them using contracted
braille, then open them from the SD card on a computer and read them with your
chosen word processer is a big improvement.

The braille truly does feel like signage braille. The dots actually stand up a
little taller than other displays and I think is the best feeling braille of
any displays. I have used the braillenotes, braille senses/BrailleEdge, and
the Focus displays.

1 finger,

Start on the bottom edge just off the screen surface and slide smoothly and not
too fast up until you hear a second tone, there should also be a haptic
vibration.

Lift your finger and that takes you to the home screen.

The same gesture, but at the third sound or second vibration will take you to
the app switcher.

It takes some practice, and if you start hearing the usual screen clicks you
get with VoiceOver, you aren’t starting at the right place. It has to be a
smooth slide.

I just got the IPhone x. I am not used to not having a home button. Can someone
guide me on what is the best way to swipe to access it? I'm not really good at
swiping, as usually with my old phone I did everything manually and I didnt
swipe much. Its telling me to swipe from the bottom of the screen upwards,
until I hear it vibrate once. how many fingers do I use to swipe, and how fast
do I swipe the screen?

It's a bit confusing though because, if I understand what I read on the IRS
site correctly, SSDI recipients will get their payments automatically. But if
you don't get enough income to have to file a tax return, you have to fill out
the form on the site to get the payment.
So if I'm not mistaken, even if you get SSDI, if you don't get enough to be
required to file a tax return, you have to fill out the form on the site to get
the payment.
If anybody understands it differently, I'd be interested.

RE: How does your Voiceover pronounce yesterday after the iOS 13.4 upgrade?

Actually, I'm the person who started the thread and I have an iPhone 8. I
thought it was an iOS 13.4 issue since I noticed it after upgrading to 13.4 but
apparently others who have not yet upgraded are also noticing it. I've reported
it to Apple Accessibility and will not comment further on the issue since I
realize it's minuscule in the scheme of things. However, I personally don't
want Voiceover to start mispronouncing words it previously pronounced correctly
which seems to be happening with more frequency.

The person who started this topic is using an XR and someone else with the
issue had an 8 plus, I have an SE and the only voice that has this issue, minor
though it may be, is the Siri Female American voice.

No other voices, in VoiceOver, or Siri have this pronunciation qwerk.

And if folks running 13.3 are experiencing it with Samantha, then it most
certainly is a gremlin that should no longer be fed.

I hate to prolong this thread but I’m wondering if this problem only occurs on
certain IPhone models. I’ve seen several posts saying their 8 has this issue &
several that mention they have a newer model & do not have the issue. Maybe I
missed some emails on this topic. I don’t think everyone who has an 8 needs to
chime in but I’d like to hear from anyone who has a newer model & has this
pronunciation issue with yesterday. It would go a long way to solving it if
the problem only occurred on certain models.

Richard,

I had tried modifying my Voiceover pronunciations to customize yesterday to
correct this issue without success until I was successful now by spelling the
substitution word as yesterday spelling the second syllable as t u r instead of
t e r. For some strange reason, this corrects the pronunciation. Spelling the
substitution word with an upper case D for day did not change my iPhone's
pronunciation of the last syllable as if it began with a t.

Thanks for all the responses on this issue which I still find a bit perplexing
considering our varying results. But I'll put it to bed now.

Well, for those who are experiencing this, have you tried going into VoiceOver
settings, Speech, pronunciation and put in yesterday with the substitution as
yester space day to see if it solves the issue, though it may have a bit of a
pause in the middle.

And, of course, everyone should write Apple, but given how inconsistent it is,
I wouldn't hold my breath.

If you are on the computer and your phone rings, you just slide the switch from
USB to BT.

A little heads up, the dongle can be stored inside the cover on the left
earpiece.

Here are some really good instruction I got from Mike B:

Device selection switch, located at the rear of the right ear piece.

When you have the headset on, the device selection switch on the right ear can
be slid to its bottom setting for off, the middle setting for Bluetooth, and
the top setting for RF with the dongle / receiver plugged into the computer.

Volume up, located at 12:00 on the face of the right ear piece.

Volume down, located at 6:00 on the face of the right ear piece.

Microphone mute, located at 9:00 on the face of the right ear piece.

The mute button mutes all sound input to the headset when playing music.

The mute button mutes the boom microphone when on the phone.

Play/pause or Answer call/end call, located at 3:00 on the face of the right
ear piece.

Next track/Fast Forward, located at the bottom of the right ear piece between
the USB port and the power/device selection switch.

Press the button down towards the charging port for, Next Track / Fast Forward.

Previous track/Rewind, located at the bottom of the right ear piece between the
USB port and the power/device selection switch.

Press the button up towards the device selection switch for, Previous Track /
Rewind.

The left ear piece has two small tactile dots on it. If you turn the cover
until the two dots are lined up, the cover will come off and inside there is
the battery, which can be replaced by someone with jeweler tools; and a spot to
store the RF dongle when not in use with the computer.

Just to let you all know you can connect the H800 to computer by a dongle, or

I am sure they are quite nice, but the discussion about the Logitech H800
focused more on it's ability to connect to a PC via a USB dongle as well as to
an iPhone via Bluetooth and the fact that they only cost $60.

I doubt you find a Bose Quiet Comfort 35 II for that price, here in Canada they
cost $449 at Best Buy. The ability to use Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa
natively on the headset is interesting and a great feature, but if I think
about what else I can buy for this amount many other things come to mind first.

Hi Rich,

Yes, I just checked the Apple Store app, and you can get AirPods Pro, regular
AirPods with a wireless charging case, or regular AirPods with a regular

I have been using WLTR2 since 2017 and have had no problem with it.

Note there are two programs WLTR and WLTR2 the latter works fine in my
experience.

I know some people are highly critical and dismissive of alternatives to ITunes
but some people prefer to use these packages.

RE: To Upgrade or not to Upgrade, that is the Question

2019-10-13 Thread richring
In a way, what you seem to be implying is that Apple does not have total
control over its products. If that is true, that is a rather disconcerting
state of things. I've lost sound a number of times, and I can't imagine how
this bug slipped by Apple, and if Apple indeed does not control their products
i.e. two iPhone 11s are not the same, that is truly unfortunate!

Subject: RE: To Upgrade or not to Upgrade, that is the Question

Hello Carolyn, et al:

You know, I've been puzzling over this ever since I updated my 8 Plus to the
latest version of iOS and purchasing an iPhone 11; both having never lost
VoiceOver as the result of any activity. With the rare exception of some
VoiceOver display bleed-through errors, described in previous posts, I never
use any of my Apple devices without VoiceOver and yet, try as I may, I cannot
reproduce the loss-of-VoiceOver glitch with or without earphones, of any type,
attached.

Did you know that not all iPhones are created equal? There are several
different models referred to by the same device name. Also, in the United
States at least, the type of carrier used can, in fact, have an impact on
device performance. For example, several years ago there was a VoiceOver
display driver bug that only affected certain iPhones sold by certain
manufacturers. Moreover, if memory serves, iPhones older than the 7 series
would have 1 of 2 different modems installed, based on certain factors. My
point, regardless of the name used, not all iPhones are identical, in terms of
hardware.

Again, at present, this is just a guess as Apple never admits to hardly
anything until it has been resolved but I suspect that those having this
problem, or the reverse, those like me, who are not having this problem, can
attribute it to the device type that is being used.

For example, and again, this is just a guess so don't take issue, I make it a
practice to pay full price for SIM-free models of any Apple device, only. The
SIM-free model is one that is generally sold outside of the US but can, upon
request, be purchased inside the US, as well.

I was told, by an Apple employee, that all iPhone 11 series phones are now
SIM-free unless the purchaser elects not to pay full price for the phone, up
front. I do not know how true this is as I am certain that when one purchases
a device directly from a carrier, the device is most certainly not SIM-free.

While I am certain that Apple will resolve this loss-of-VoiceOver issue, the
fact that it even exists suggests to me that they did not or could not
anticipate this problem on their in-house models, said models most likely being
the purist of the pure where software and hardware installs are concerned.

Yesterday, I lost speech, even Bluetooth did not get it for me - phone would
not ring, only vibrate. We did reboot, turned off then back on. Finally, I
called Apple Accessibility. We worked and worked again, finally turned off,
back on, got it. She asked if she could screen share, did, checked About for my
model information, said she would submit my second complaint with regard to
VoiceOver. I told her I was out of the house, had the problem for hours,
couldn't even get Siri. I wish I knew a work around, just to keep it from
happening again.

I do like Call Silencer, but would give it up to stabilize VoiceOver.

For as much as I complained about VO dropping out after phone/FaceTime calls,
I'm really glad I did the upgrade to the IOS13. I got a call that went to
voicemail this morning that was a SSA scam that said my number would be
suspended due to fraudulent activity, that I would be arrested, and to kindly
press 1 (I'm not kidding) for more information. I was able to use the voicemail
recording and the info VO provided to give an accurate account of the call to
the FTC when I filed my complaint with them after the call came in.

Yay, Apple.

Do the upgrade. Just have a pair of wired earbuds handy to get VO back if it
kicks out after a call. I hung up just a few minutes ago from a call (without
being plugged in), and lost speech but still had sound--I could hear the clicks
as I swiped right and left. I grabbed my wired earbuds, plugged in, and VO was
back.

Facial recognition

2019-09-29 Thread richring
Hello everyone,

I have upgraded from an iPhone 8 to an iPhone 11.

I have set up face ID more than once.

However, when attempting to unlock my phone, it never recognizes my face,
and I must enter my passcode. Now, this is not the end of the world, but is
there anything anyone can suggest to help make face ID function as it
should?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
