Skip the Dishes has refused to change their app framework or label their buttons after many attempts. Giving the app makers a low rating and encouraging other people to do the same because the developer has broken Apple’s accessibility guidelines and therefore is refusing to serve the whole public might do a better job of encouraging positive change. Hi Shermeen, that lesson is hard to learn for everyone. If spotify doesn’t help a good idea might be to give them a low star rating on the app store. Maybe if we treat accessibility issues like the real problems they are developers will listen to us. Hello again, Just a quick update. I contacted Spotify support via their website, and the chat feature was remarkably accessible. The person I was chatting with offered to escalate the concern to a specialist, and now I'm just waiting to hear from someone. I'd urge other VO users who are having similar issues with the update to do the same thing, or maybe there's a more effective way of getting some movement here. I should have learned my lesson by now: update apps at your won risk. I am running IOS 12.something on an iPhone 8, and just updated to the latest version of spotify. They indicated "accessibility fixes" as part of the update.
