RE: IOS 11.0.3
Alan, This was widely known and Apple has been saying this ever since they released iOS 10. There was even a place in Settings > General > About where you could see a list of apps which would no longer work under iOS 11. In any case, staying on iOS 10 for a few old apps which were abandoned by their developer is not a long-term solution. Developers were also informed that their apps have to be 64 Bit and I’m almost certain that if a developer hasn’t done this now it is because they have abandoned their app and are not interested in updating it. If you had stayed with iOS 10 you would have just postponed the inevitable. as the apps continued to work, I will admit that I didn't take too much notice of them. that's all well and good if you know who the developers are, but does anyone really keep that info handy? Whenever I used apps that were 32 bit under iOS 10, I always got the warning that the app needed to be updated for future versions of iOS. There was a lot of talk about that prior to iOS 11. Have you contacted the developers of the apps that no longer work to see if they plan to update? It is totally on the shoulders of the developers since Apple had made it clear that they needed to update their apps to the 64 bit architecture. Sorry if you missed the warnings. Just updating to iOS 11.0.3
hi I just updated to iOS 11.0 .3 and I have two questions. is there a way in Facebook to make it so you can login like before by tapping on your name instead of having to enter your password every time. also where is the setting that allows you to turn off so you can get messages etc. even if you are in the car and not the driver. I remember seeing a Settings about something to do with Messages so the messaging app will behave like you did in previous version but don’t know where that is so if anyone can help I would appreciate it. Thanks. Jen -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list. Update To: iOS 11.0.3 Reminders: Bugs, Bugs, Bugs!
Hello Everyone, After reading the replies to my original thread on this subject, my friend and I went to the Apple Store. As you have probably guessed, based on the replies from the original thread, I was unable to reproduce any of the VoiceOver Reminder app bugs on any of the phones in the Apple Store. In fact, strange as it may sound, the VoiceOver Reminder bugs appear to be limited to her device, alone. While there, I paid a visit to the Genius Bar, demonstrating the anomalies. They, too, were a bit baffled at the uniqueness of the problems. They suggested that we reset all of the settings on her phone ore simply install iOS 11 from scratch. So, there ends my saga of the Reminders app VoiceOver bugs. Thank you all for replying to my original post and I apologize for any confusion I may have caused.
