Regarding signing in to spotify, they do have an alternative method but I can't
get it to work and I have tried at least 4 screen readers with it.
I eventually had to log in with my facebook account and I don't know anyone
else who hasn't had to do that.
If you can do that then the app is

I signed up for Spotify before they required a FaceBook account.
I can still use my Spotify account but all new customers are required to
have FaceBook.

Well, they just lost a customer. I tried to sign up via email several times
and got nowhere. I'm not getting a facebook account just so that I can get
Spotify. That's just crazy
Hi Wendy:
If you are in the US, I would give the MOG music service a try. That service
has the highest streaming bit rate at 320 and, at least, the iPhone app is very
accessible. The Rdio service is not streaming at a very high quality bit
rate. Spotify is also streaming some of their
Hi Wendy,
Since Spotify is not available in Canada I haven't used it, but you can sign
up on the website first and you don't have to use a Facebook account.
If you are looking for a paid music service you could also give Rdio a try.
They boast 18,000,000 songs and I subscribed for a few
I can't verify this because Spotify is not available in Canada, but I highly
doubt they would let you login only with Facebook credentials. There are
many people who are not Facebook users and it would be like Spotify shooting
themselves in the foot if they said you can't be our customer unless
I have had limited access using system access. But the only thing that works is
listening to a playlist of one artist, rather than using artificial
intelligence.

No, it does not indicate more tracks.
It's actually a kind of menu that reveals more options like add track to
playlist etc.
But VO won't read these options when you flick.
To locate them you need to explore the screen with your finger and VO will
announce them.

Like Annie, I use Spotify without issue on my Sonos system, Sonos is both wired
and wireless music through either your existing HiFi system via an MacMini
sized unit which you connect, or, through Sonos's own dedicated all in one HiFi
units.
I have a mixture of Sonos equipment, from their
Hi Eric.
Here are the reasons for I've given up on Spotify:
1: The app is totally inaccessible on the Mac.
2: The app on the iPhone works okay, but it's not fully accessible. Or, it
wasn't then I tried it a half year ago.
So why should I pay for being able to only listen to music on my iPhone
Ditto. That's why I prefer Last.fm. It's accessible across the board.

I agree. I took the app for a spin and used the 48 hour trial and found the

Spotify is a reputable service, so you shouldn't worry about viruses
from Spotify more than any other similar service. Of course, you should
always keep your OS and music player up to date with the latest security
fixes.
