Re: How do you cloase all the pages in Safari

2017-08-07 Thread 'Sandratomkins' via VIPhone
hi,
I have an iPhone 6, so, no 3D Touch. however, and I just tried this, if you get
the focus on the page tab and double tap and hold, The same options, including
one to close all and then it gives the number of open pages.

I bet there's loads of functionality I never knew existed because I never
thought to find it!

2017-08-06 Thread Mike B.
Hi Mr. Ed,

Check this out:

From: Rita Howells via iDevices
Hello,
I find that it is a good practice to close all tabs in Safari, when I am
ready to exit.
Another contributor to the iDevices list serve: gave these instructions.
Thank you Brian.
if you want to clear all tabs on your iPhone in safari use the Pages button
in the bottom right corner. You can then double tap and hold the done button
and you will get an option for closing all open tabs. if you want to restore
one of the recently closed tabs then you can double tap and hold the new tab
button, and you will get a list of recently closed tabs and just double tap
the one you want to open again. If you want to close each tab individually
then after using The Pages button start swiping left until you hear the
individual pages that are open. Swipe up on each one that you want to close
and double tap on the clothes option. you can then double tap the done
button.
Brian
Take care. Mike. Go Dodgers!

Subject: How do you cloase all the pages in Safari

Hi Group,

When you have Safari open and go down to the bottom right side there is a
pages button. When you click on that there is all kinds of pages open. How
do you get rid of all those pages. They are web sites that I have gone to.
Any help on this would be appreciated. Also what is this page button for?

Mr. Ed

2017-08-05 Thread Woody Anna Dresner
Hi,

If your phone has 3D Touch, press and hold the Pages button. One of the options
on the screen that opens is "Close # tabs," where # is however many are open.
Double-tap, and all the pages close at once.

Best,
Anna

To close your open tabs in Safari, go to the Pages tab in the lower right-hand
corner. Do a single finger double tap to open the tab. Once opened, swipe up
on an opened page with one finger. VoiceOver Will say, "close Tab". Do a
single finger double tap to close the tab. Keep double tapping on tabs after
that to close the remaining tabs.
