Hi Regina,

The thing that worked for me is turning off the threads.
Personally for me it's very cumbersome to delete a message between the
threads.

The only way I have found is to close the thread, flick up to expand thread, 
double tap and then each message is on its own in the thread so you can delete 
them individually.

Frankly, I'm probably turning threading off again since 1. You cannot delete 
individual messages in the thread, and 2.  It still seems to jump beyond the 
first message in the thread.
