A portable router is nice when you go somewhere that offers an Ethernet connection but doesn't have wifi. You can plug your portable router in and have wifi. I've had to do this a few times, such as when renting a condo at the beach. I suspect it's getting less and less necessary though. On

I've been researching additional storage for a iPhone 5s and I notice some external storage come with a router. I under stand that routers connect computers but I don't understand why I would want a portable router when traveling. So, 2 things, if someone could help me understand why I'd want
