RE: Amazon music app for iPhone broek accessibility
I’m not so sure about this. Amazon has addressed accessibility issues in the past. VoiceView is pretty much directly a result of pressure that was brought to bear on Amazon over accessibility. One thing I know for sure though, is that if people don’t report issues to Amazon then we’ll never even find out if they care or not. Discouraging others from reporting issues will make it even more unlikely that Amazon will address anything. -- Christopher (AKA CJ) =>÷ Chaltain at Outlook, USA From: viphone@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of Dennis Long Sent: Wednesday, August 23, 2023 5:52 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: Amazon music app for iPhone broek accessibility Amazon could care less. Feliciano, I'm not trying to be contentious here but I disagree that turning screen recognition on in the Amazon Music app has no impact. It makes a difference in what VoiceOver speaks on my iPhone 13 Mini running iOS 16.6. Perhaps you have your settings different or don't know how to turn screen recognition on in order to use it. RE: Amazon music app for iPhone broek accessibility
Hello All, I have to admit, when compared to the outstanding VoiceOver accessibility of the Kindle app for iOS, the Amazon Music app for iOS is woefully lacking. While one can certainly employ various VoiceOver workarounds, with varying degrees of success, the experience is not, in my opinion, enjoyable. AT this point in time, I would certainly not recommend the Amazon Music app for iOS to any VoiceOver user. Be that as it may, when accessed via Amazon Alexa, the Amazon Music service for the Echo hardware devices is excellent. Just my opinion, of course. RE: Amazon music app for iPhone broek accessibility
Hi, I didn’t explain here as I have already explained to amazon. I am having issues with unlabled buttons on both iPhone and Windows apps. On iPhone, I am also having abnormal behavior when swiping on occasion which triggers the app to go to the next track. If you play a track, go to the now playing screen and it’s a mess. Not sure if you’re an amazon music unlimited user as unlimited users have different UI on iPhone.
