Hi, I wonder how Drafts might work for something like this. You can
configure it to add a line of text to an existing file. Of course I'm
not sure how it can be manipulated to add numbers or track statistics or

Brett, glucose buddy is the one app I have stuck with the longest. The problem
I find with it is printing out results. Each time I have tried or had someone
else try, they tell me the columns come out all messed up. I can't figure out
why. Do you have any ideas on that?

Hi Eric,
I'm not using anything at the moment: I've been a bit slack lately. I will
reinstall it and get back to you later today.
Were you the one commenting on spreadsheets being the best way to track things?
I found my old spreadsheet and tried it with Numbers last night. It is now very
Does anybody use an iDevice app to track blood sugar readings and possibly
additional data regarding diabetes control? The app must be quite VoiceOver
accessible because the friend asking for this information is totally blind.

diabetes app lite. It is ablood sugar control glucose.
It is a free app, and is put out by BHI technologies Inc.
The other one is called Blood sugar tracker, and by an organization called
healthy cloud. Azumio Inc.

Hi,
There are quite a few of these. Glucose Buddy is another free one.
I would just get her to try a few of the free ones and see which best suits
her needs.
Cheers,
Brett.

Really? I've been using a prodigy voice meter for several years. Do you have
additional information to share?

I would consider myself a fairly high level Apple user, not expert, but far
better than a lot.
I say that because I have tried probably two dozen blood sugar tracking apps
and found them all to be lacking in some way or other. Mostly, it seems
following results for comparison and trends.

Hi,
I agree that a spreadsheet is the best way to go for us blindies. However when
I changed from Windows mobile where I could enter my readings in the
spreadsheet on the fly, to the iPhone, I had no way to do this. So I gave up on
the spreadsheet.
