Okay, Richard, not sure what actually fixed this! I cleared the RAM, but then checked again and US English was still dimmed. However, after checking, I was messing with the Rotor and Braille Tables was suddenly there and I was able to move to US English and, of course, now I’m back to my old Grade 2! Again, thank you for whatever part of your email actually worked! That is very strange. Try clearing the RAM. Hold down on the power button until you hear power off. Do not power off, instead, release the power button, and hold the home button, or side switch, until you are back on the home screen. Then check again. Also, is the braille table in the rotor? Tried that and it didn’t change anything. US English is dimmed—I even changed the iPhone region to United States from Canada, thinking perhaps that might be the reason that US was dimmed, even though I had added the table. Go into VoiceOver Hl settings, and double tap on braille tables. Add a table, and select US english. That should get you back to your preferred.
