Yes you can with iMovie but it.s easier with Bluetooth keyboard. If you only
need to put 2 videos together without paste and cut it's easier. Try to found
more info in YouTube.

Thank you so much for the suggesttion, but unfortunately, what I need to do,

I'm having to use my computer with Reaper, which handles this task quite nicely
actually.

On your phone when in iMovie, you double tap on start new projects, and then
double tap on The very bottom where it says make a movie with the iMovie
timeline. After that, as you are flicking from the top of the screen, you will
see select, followed by choices that the app gets from the Photos
I have 2 videos I’d like to merge into 1, for later posting.
