Hi!
Thanks for you r answer. Do you happen to know differences between
the ordinary and the stand for blind and visually impaired? From
description I can only see that VI stand is suitable for iDevices
and the ordinary stand can handle other types of phones and tablets

Hi Mary,
It does surprisingly well with the curviture of the spine. Nothing perfect, but
better than I expected.
Make sure that the stand legs are inserted into the base.
And, make sure the way the stand is setup that the microsuction tape strip is
on the top. that does help the phone not to
Hi. I haven't been able to remove the caps from the ends of the wires of the
original fopydo stand.
Thanks.

If you got the book reading aid through the kickstarter, it should have come
with a stand without those microsuction tabs on the legs.
Yes, those tabs are really hard to take off, and even harder to put back on.

Hi all,
I finally got my stand put together with some cited help, my usual mechanical
incompetence having come to the fore once again. I am curious what sort of luck
folks are having using this. It seems kind of shaky or flimsy. Not the book
part, just the stand part. Like I feel like I'm going
I have used it with the touch, but I mostly use the phone for scanning.
No, it isn't very sticky, but it does provide a little traction. If one wasn't
careful, you probably could knock the phone off.
I hope it ends up working for you.

Thanks, richard. It's interesting about that tape thing on the top. Until I was
reading on Amazon.com and saw your review, Richard, I really didn't get with
that strip was for. It's not too sticky. But I wondered why it was there, since
it didn't really seem to hold my phone. Perhaps that is
I suspect the stand is going to work. I was just curious about using it with
the touch. Since the touch is a little smaller than a 6S and certainly smaller
than a 6S plus. It seems like it might be a good fit.

Hi,
You can't get the attachment until he has filled all the KickStarter orders,
then he will make it available to the rest of the world and it will be on his
website.

Hi!
I just visited he www.fopydo.com and only found two stands there.
The one is for visually impaired and the other for the rest of the
world. Neither has book attachment and there's no word about it
there. Where can I get the attachment, with or without the stand?
The Book attachment was a kick starter project. That is over. You could, for
around $40, get the stand including the book reader attachment through this
kick starter. I believe the gentleman who makes these plans to make that
available on his website, or maybe on Amazon at some point. But
Oh, if only the US postal service were that good! My Fopydo stand with
bookreading attachment has been bouncing around the Chicago area for almost two
weeks and only departed the US, hopefully for France, yesterday. It seems that
someone couldn’t tell the difference between Yorkville and Orry
