If you both have Dropbox, you could share a file for lists and notes, etc. I
find these solutions often work better than the specialty apps, anyway.

I believe you can also just add items to the grocery list, without
using the meal

I've been using Shopi; and, in my opinion, it's a great app for making grocery
lists and keeping track of expiration dates. I find the app to be very
VoiceOver friendly and very easy to use. Though the app is free, you can
remove the ads for $1.99. Here is the link to the app if any one is i
