I can't understand that. I do it the old way double tap on confirm section and
then double tap again. It sounds like it doesn't work but it does. You will see
the next notification come in to focus and you won't see the one you deleted

I know what you're saying, Don, but it simply doesn't work in my case. I've
tried it many times. It must be a situation peculiar to my setup. If I cared
about it more than I do, I'd reset, but I can delete the notifications
individually. More than likely another iOS update will come along
this and
post feedback to see if it seems to work for everybody or not.
