I am delighted to report that with the release of iOS 12 along with the
latest version of the app and website, the Amazon bug, described in my
original post, listed below, has been resolved.

it as accessibility bug issue, and in the body, describe the bug and request
something be done about it.
I also sent an email just now to Amazon. I thought it was just me. But, you,
this problem is annoying. It also happens on the Amazon website. I also have a
hard time removing things from my wish list. Most of the time, the wrong thing
gets deleted.

In case you have not yet noticed, when a user attempts to view saved
shopping/wish lists in the Amazon App, an Invitation dialog box now appears
which prevents VoiceOver users from accessing any saved lists or any items
