I too have had the same issue as you with 9.3. I updated to iOS 10 and still
had the same issue, so I deleted and re-did my fingerprint again. Its a bit too
early to really tell, but so far so good. It has worked for the last 3 times
for me.

I was having the same problem. I shut down the phone a couple of times and I to
deleted the fingerprint and did it again. I noticed that I had to hold my
finger there for a little longer and then the phone would unlock.

I have a question. I have recently been having difficulty with my phone
recognizing my fingerprint for my passcode when I unlock my phone. I even
went in today and deleted my fingerprint and redid it. It didn't really
start happening until I upgraded to IOS 9.3.5.
Any sugtgestions?
