RE: Questions regarding the Cash App

2017-09-10 Thread Alan Lemly
Terri,

I'm confused by what you read that didn't make sense to you. If I followed your
statement, you seemed confused by the reference of someone wanting to use the
app to send money. Isn't that what you did with the app at some point in the
past, used it to send someone money? Once the app is set up properly among
those using it, you could use it to send electronic payments to desired
recipients or to request an electronic payment from a desired financier.

Hello everyone who has been trying to help me understand this.

I used this App once to send money. I believe I had linked my bank account to
the App, so that I didn't have to pay a 3 percent fee, for using a debit, or
credit card.

Something I read, regarding the App stated that the person wanting to send you
the money. But that doesn't make much sense to me?

Why would it be that way?

I did see the part on how you can get a card. So I just decided to do it. But
my bank account is still linked to the App, as well.

I read that all anyone had to do was use something as simple as your phone
number, to send you the money. There were other options, as well.

Also, I guess you can somehow control how fast the money can go in to your bank
account.

Now that's cool!

Thank you,

Terri

Hello,
If you have a Cash account, you can send money to someone. I also believe there
is a way to set up a URL to be paid by, but I'm not sure how. You can request a
free Cash Card, which will be mailed to you and can be used like a debit card,
using the funds in your Cash app.

RE: Questions regarding the Cash App

2017-09-10 Thread Alan Lemly
Terri,

The Cash app by Square, Inc. which has also been called Square Cash I believe
does what you're asking. I got a little confused by just what your friend is
trying to accomplish because it sounded a bit as if she wanted to use the Cash
app like a prepaid credit card.

You can use the app to electronically move money between app users who've set
it up properly. This used to involve keying in your bank's debit card number
information in order to tie your bank account to your Cash app. Both my son and
I have done this so I can easily transfer money to him via the Cash app without
any fees. I think the app may have expanded how to transfer money with it since
I set it up over a couple of years ago. You can read its iTunes Apps Store
description here:

Hello everyone,

What I would like to know is, can people take certain information from
this App, and put money in to your cash account?

Then could you move it to your bank, if desired?

I am trying to help a friend out. She wants to get a pre-paid card. She
wants him to be able to load money on it, online.

Does such a thing exist?
