I had a Griffin Survivor case on my iPod Touch 5th Gen. It is a little thicker
than the Otterbox Defender but the case is made of a softer silicone and the
flats are a bit more flexible. Yes, it has all the flaps to cover the various
ports and the built-in screen protector. It also has a flap
Griffin survivor is as protective, and complicated to fit and remove, as
Otterbox defenders. I had two, still got one in a drawer, the Defender
seems neater, the Survivor really is chunky, if you like that kind of thing.
Screen is covered on both.

One drawback to this case is the fact that clip for your belt goes on in such a
way that it blocks the charging port from being accessed when used. This is
rather inconvenient for me, as I often need to charge my phone when out and

Survivor case is very good. Nice feel under fingers. The screen protector is
better than the iPone screen regarding screen gestures.
