RE: More Information About People In The App Switcher

2015-04-15 Thread Rob
When I changed the setting to first name and last initial, it did not take
effect immediately. So I powered the phone off and back on again. Now the
setting change took effect.

The only complaint I have is that someone whose last name begins with V is
spoken as fifth as in Michael Fifth. But that is not a big deal.

Hmm! Interesting, I found options for first name and last name letter and went
for that one and it still hasn't made any difference ...

Perhaps they just can't all fit in the app switcher.

I don't have people in my App Switcher any more, but I bet if you go to
Settings - Mail, Calendars, Contacts and double tap the short name button,
whatever you select here will be used in the App Switcher.

Thanks for your help.
