It would make sense not to launch it today based on Apple's way of
handling this for years. They've always launched gold master to the
public beta testers and developers within hours after the event ends and
then the public launch a week later which would be this coming Tuesday.

It also may take time to be distributed around the world, so you may not see it
right away. I tend to wait a couple of days anyway, to read about it, and also
give time for the flurry of downloads to subside.
