All you have to do to prevent the "double tap to open" is to turn off hints.

I was able to get it to work. I did it a little different then you did Dennis.
I had to put the phrases in to smaller chunks, but I did eventually get it to
work. The really cool thing is, is that you can just delete all entries
again.

When you replace the three words status bar item
When you replace the three words status bar item with a space, what happened
to this three words when they are mentioned in any article. Will voice over
still read them?
